Meet King ❤️
This super sweet boy has been at the shelter OVER TWO YEARS! :(
King was surrendered to the shelter in 2023 when his owner was moving. He lived his entire life outside, never receiving vet care, and has now spent the last year in the shelter so he has never been loved as part of a family. King lived with another dog in the past, but would prefer to be the only pet in his new home. He is described as loyal & protective with his family and absolutely loves to give kisses. King is about 5 years old and would likely do well with older children.
He does great in the car, loves listening to music, & enjoys chicken nuggets ❤️
He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, & heartworm negative so he can go home right away!
His adoption fee is only $1!

Field Trip Update:
King did great! He was easy to get into my truck. He sat there calmly on the ride and was easy to get out. He behaved at the drive thru and politely waited while I shared my chicken with him.
He did drink my tea sitting in the cupholder before I could stop him. He has such an intense look, but he's really gentle, and it's safe to feed him with your fingers.
