About 171021 Lily (Off Site Foster)

Foster update:

Lily is a sassy, spunky, talkative girl with a zest for life. Despite her age, she has plenty of energy for zoomies, walkies, and best of all—car rides!! She is the self-proclaimed queen of the entire couch, although she doesn’t mind sharing a pillow or blanket with her favorite humans. She can be a bit shy with strangers, but loves big bear hugs from people she knows.

Notes:

⁃protective over the home and does not do great with house guests (barking, herding/stalking, heel nipping)

⁃reactive to dogs passing by the house

⁃friendly with dogs in a neutral environment

⁃not interested in most toys, sometimes a tennis ball

⁃has arthritis pain in her front legs, difficulty getting into a comfortable position when lying down

LILY - 13 years old (in September), 90 pounds, house trained, good with kids & dogs outside of the home, no cats, crate trained, knows commands, loves treats, walks & car rides.

Lilly is looking for a new home. She is an older gal who still has so much life to live and with the spring in her step I saw outside in the yard, she will keep you moving, walking, and on great adventures. She loves car rides, too! She is great with adults, and even did well with the young child in her most recent home. She does need to be the only dog in the home, as she enjoys all of the attention to herself. Lily is super sweet and it's clear she loves life. As mentioned before, she picked the pace up in the yard which was such a pleasant surprise! She knows so many commands including sit, stay, and roll over. She is the total package and deserves a warm, comfortable home for the rest of her years. Come meet her today! Just call VBACAC at 757-385-4444 to make an appointment!
