About 251158 Keller

Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!

Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!

Pet Description: Keller is five-months-old (as of early Oct), male, maybe a Retriever mix, should be in the 50 lb range when fully grown.

He is special needs as he has balance issues and possibly suffers from Cerebellar ataxia, AND, he is deaf! In dogs this is a neurological condition caused by damage to the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for coordinating movement and balance. This damage results in a lack of coordination, causing dogs to exhibit an abnormal gait, tremors, and a wide stance when standing.

Keller is in a foster home and doing wonderfully. He plays with other dogs, loves attention, is happy, eats fine, loves attention is and is just a very sweet pup.

DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
