About Achilles- $75 Adoption Fee! Diamond Dog
Meet Achilles! He is an approximately 1 year old, male, Shepherd/Carolina dog who weighs approximately 49lbs. He was found off Goldenwave Drive and Primrose in Rockwall on 08/27/2025 and never reclaimed. He knows a few basic commands and appears to be eager to learn. He will need assistance in learning house training and leash training. Achilles is the epitome of sweetness and love. He enjoys the company of people of all ages! As long as you are up for cuddles and belly rubs, you'll win his heart. Achilles loves other dogs in social situations but would rather be the only pet in the home. Achillies has been waiting for his furever family for 90 days as of 11/25/25 and is now a Diamond Dog. His adoption fee is $75. He's neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
